Anyone can comment on a bug. Have a simpler test case? Does it work for you on a different platform? Let us know! Just going to say 'Me too!'? Don't clutter the database with that please !

Description: ------------ It would be helpful if there was a command line option to exclude certain directories from checking, like tests/ and examples/. You often have many files to check so that naming them explicitely in cmdline is not possible, but still want to exclude some of them.

Nice feature. Recent version got command line options to not recurse into directories and to check only some file extensions, so I think this option would work well with them.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. There is now a new command line options to do this. Specify like this: phpcs --ignore=/tests/*,/examples/*
