Description: ------------ Hello, I am runing PHP_CodeSniffer as a SVN pre-commit hooks. This hook is coded in bash ('cause I have multiple thinks to do). I've seen on the Web that there is a way of using in hook. It consist on flushing content of updated file, then running phpcs on it. However, this solution is for me a non-sens. There must be a way to run phpcs on a pipe (for example : cat $FILE | phpcs -ns) or on stdin (for example : phpcs < $FILE > $REP). I have not found this feature of phpcs. Does it exist ? Thanks,

No, PHPCS does not current accept content from STDIN.

This bug has been fixed in SVN. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
