    I suggest to use HTTP_Request instead of fopen() for fetching remote files - fopen() may not work when allow_url_fopen is disabled.

    Package source online would be nice. For those of us who don't want to download and deal with a tgz. Seriously, you get lots more comments on yoru source if it's easily readable online.
