Bug #6853 Content-Length not set on HEAD requests

Description: ------------ In response to a HEAD request, the Content-Length is not specified like it is with GET request. This causes problems for the Microsoft Data Access Internet Publishing Provider DAV 1.1 client. When copying a file to the WebDAV drive, the client makes first makes a PUT request and then a HEAD request. If this HEAD request does not contain a Content-Length header, an error is displayed, something like "An error occured while copying the selected files" (my Windows is a Danish edition so this is just a translation). A workaround is to make http_HEAD call $this->http_GET() instead of just $this->GET(). Don't know if this has negative consequenses, though.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
