Description: ------------ Due to PHP bug 27822 (fixed in v4.3.6) and #28055 (fixed in v4.3.7) the Net_NNTP v0.10.x performs very slow when being used on v4.3.1-6. Due to the bugs the connection validation in isConnected() doesn't works as intended... PHP4.2 is not affected. PHP4.3.7-dev (12/05-04) is confirmed functional. PHP5.0 is still not supported.

PHP5.0 (rc3) should now be supported, but one one should use Net/Socket.php v1.13 from CVS, since Net_Socket v1.0.2 hangs...

This bugger is actually mostly informational, and is currently only left open for informational purposes. (I should perhaps invent ‘The sticky bug’ ;-)
