Description: ------------ I am trying to upgrade on a shared host from PEAR 1.3.5 to PEAR 1.4.0a6 and I get an error about an invalid dependency relationship 'ne' (see actual result section for exact message). Reproduce code: --------------- pear upgrade PEAR-alpha Expected result: ---------------- $ pear upgrade PEAR-alpha downloading PEAR-1.4.0a6.tgz ... Starting to download PEAR-1.4.0a6.tgz (245,543 bytes) ...................................................done: 245,543 bytes Upgrade ok Actual result: -------------- $ pear upgrade PEAR-alpha downloading PEAR-1.4.0a6.tgz ... This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.
