Description: ------------ The factory method in Payment_Process accesses a seemingly private property of the processor instance newly created. Class inheritance doesn't matter here. The factory method works on a new instance of the processor so it shouldn't touch the private properties on that instance. The processor constructor should set that value. -Philippe

This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net. In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better. Please test CVS.

This bug was regarding Payment_Process::factory() setting $this->_driver The constructor of the processor class should do that... Bug #3818 was for the Payment_Process_Result::factory() call. The two are similar but not the same ;-) -Philippe
