Would you tell me 1) had you upgraded PEAR from an older dev version of 1.4.0? 2) if you run "pear channel-update pear" and try again, does the notice still exist? Thanks, Greg

I upgraded from the last stable version. channel-updated didn't change anything.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net. In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better. The problem is that upgrade-all was attempting to retrieve upgrades from the __uri channel, which is absurd.
