Description: ------------ Is it possible to put several tables that include only a single row for the next index in databases with the missing auto-increasement-function all together in one single table? I really would like to use PEAR::DB, but I find it really ugly, if there are that much tables with nearly no content inside my database. So is it possible to create a new row for each table that uses autoincrement within a special "auto-increment-table"?

This can not be changed at this point for compatibility reasons. We'll keep this in mind when we overhaul DB into a new major version.
