Description: ------------ According to the PHP bug report, fatal protocol error is a non-standard-compliant IIS server's fault, but it won't be fixed in the source unless the http wrapper is used (this package, of course, doesn't use it). See the bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=23220 However, this package obviously can't be expected to fix this as it's not an HTTP-only connection. Could an option possibly be added to silence the warning on the offending call? HTTP_Request could use this option if it sees the appropriate header. See the HTTP_Request bug: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=144

This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net. In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.
