Description: ------------ HTML type elements should have a name too so that they can be easily dealt with. Adding an optional second param to the constructor would fix it. I can supply a patch if necessary, but it's only 2 lines changed.

HTML type elements are deprecated, no new functionality will be added for them.

ARGH! They're useful for hacking layout with the default renderer. If they're deprecated, what are they deprecated in favor of?

In favor of template-based approach (which is possible even without using an actual template engine).
