Proposal for "Config_Registry"

» Metadata » Status
» Description
This package provides a set of methods for communication between applications (as plugins)
and keeping track of application configuration information.

- allows management of one or multiple application.
- import existing configuration (see PEAR::Config package).
- export configuration on PEAR::Config pattern.
- may set, add or remove configuration parameters.
- retrieve a configuration parameter following a layer priority
('user' than 'system' and finally 'default').
- defines and call application services ("hooks"). Callbacks may be functions or class-methods.

I'm sorry, but for security reasons on my webserver some php functions were disabled. So example S2 and S3 does not run properly. You should download the package and install it on your localhost.
But all others examples are fully operational !

Package documentation page contains a little introduction you should read first.
