Description: ------------ Enable support to connect through INET6 sockets instead of INET(4). Change the setBindAddress() method to work also with IPv6 addresses and switch the IPv4/IPv6 mode automatically. After that the only change to be made is when socket_create change AF_INET to AF_INET6.

This bug has been fixed in SVN. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. To bind to an IPv6 address, surround the address with [brackets]. The port number must be outside the brackets if you're binding to a certain port as well.
