When submitting the form there is no success message, instead the I'm back at the note management screen with the message "There are no user notes to manage, sorry... :(", because the note has indeed been deleted.

Oh, you are talking about when you do the 'last' note, aren't you.

It was only a single note there, so yes, it was the last one.
