Description:

Using combination of VALIDATE_NAME.VALIDATE_ANY_OTHER_FORMAT cause string validation to fail. This occurs because VALIDATE_NAME format ends with a dash (-) character which cause an undesired regexp pattern (like '-any_char) when it is concatenated with another format.
Test script:
---------------
Validate::string("PEAR 1234", array("format" => VALIDATE_NAME.VALIDATE_NUM));
Expected result:
----------------
This code should return TRUE
Actual result:
--------------
This code returns FALSE.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
