Description: ------------ Using the most recent build (0.3.1.), I get a failed assertion for many variations of the included test case. This issue appears to be similar to the one mentioned in: as well as Pear bug #10423 However, after reading both bugs, I'm still not aware of a fix that works for my test case Test script: --------------- require_once "Text/Diff.php"; require_once "Text/Diff/Renderer.php"; require_once "Text/Diff/Renderer/inline.php"; $a = <<<QQ <li>The tax credit amounts to 30% of the cost of the system, with a maximum of 2,000. I can't reproduce this with the current code from CVS which isn't different from the 0.3.1 release functionally.

Spoke too soon, this only happens with PHP 5.
