The Postgres handler for escapeSimple does not work for php 5.2 or above, because pg_escape_string now also expects a db connection id

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

Ah, undocumented BC breaks. Everyone's favourite PHP feature. In short, pg_escape_string in PHP < 5.2.0 is no longer compatible with PHP >= 5.2.0.
