Anyone can comment on a bug. Have a simpler test case? Does it work for you on a different platform? Let us know! Just going to say 'Me too!'? Don't clutter the database with that please !

Description: ------------ Hi, How is the progress going on this package? My question is whether or not a jump in version number is required for this package? Can't we just add a factory() method to allow for the other backend, while preserving BC with the current Net_FTP? User wishing to use the non-extension implementation would simply use the factory() method, whereas existing code would still work... Just a suggestion... That's the approach I took with Crypt_Blowfish (CVS version.) Cheers, -Philippe

net_ftp2 never got a release, suspending this bug since the package gets deleted.
