Description: ------------ Already discussed with Greg and Davey. It's really simple, doesn't break BC and saves a lot of space for small (or heavily compressed) files. I can commit it if you like, or you can.. or you could shoot it down (-: Newlines are now preserved. Anyway, let me know what you think -- IMO it's a bit silly to include ALL of the T_DOC_COMMENTS in the output .phars S Test script: --------------- Patch: http://www.phpdoc.info/patches/PHP_Archive_Creator-collapse.patch

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
