Anyone can comment on a bug. Have a simpler test case? Does it work for you on a different platform? Let us know! Just going to say 'Me too!'? Don't clutter the database with that please !

Description: ------------ I suggest that on the FAQ page for PEAR that you add a question that tells users how to find out if pear is installed or not easily. I need this information because I don't know if my ISP has installed PEAR or not, and it is not obvious how to find out easily if it is installed or not. Greg Garner
