At current version 1.9.3, the factory method don't return the object by referece.
# So Log_mail cannot send a mail, because the registered shutdown function runs another instance's flush method.
Test script:

- $obj = new $class($name, $ident, $conf, $level);
+ $obj = &new $class($name, $ident, $conf, $level);
return $obj;
}
