I am working with QF and smarty on a UTF8-based multilingual site. As I am trying to implement various input fields in a CMS I ran into troubles with the Arabic language. The automatic htmlspechialchars in html_common messes up the UTF-8 Arabic string when reloaded from the database.
It would be great to be able to pass an additional parameter to QF to prevent the auto escaping for specific form elements.
