Right now I am hijacking the output buffer to capture the results of $workbook->close(); in order to capture output into a variable. Test script: --------------- //my naughty workaround: ob_start();//start buffering to capture contents of excel document. $workbook->close(); $document = ob_get_contents(); ob_end_clean();//clean out this buffer, and turn off buffering. //should really look like: $document = $workbook->getRaw(); //or whatever name sounds good.
