The check_domain functionality of the email() method does not properly identify the domain used for checkdnsrr()
Test script:

$e = '"@google.com@"@example.com';
$v = new Validate();
$v->email($e, array('check_domain'=>true, 'use_rfc822'=>false));
$v->email($e, array('check_domain'=>true, 'use_rfc822'=>true));

check the value of $domain immediately before this line of code:

if (checkdnsrr($domain, 'MX') || checkdnsrr($domain, 'A')) {
Expected result:
----------------
value of $domain should be 'example.com'
Actual result:
--------------
value of $domain is 'google.com'

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
