I can't find anything official on Telstra's website, but google for telstra onenumber or telepath and you will get some reliable sources of information about this.
The service was shut down in April 2008.
Expected result:

Lines 176-178 of Validate/Validate/AU.php be removed so 0500 numbers are no longer considered valid in Australia.
Actual result:
