Description: ------------ Take a look here: http://pear.php.net/accounts.php That's a lot of bogus accounts, each of which gets a php.net email address, I'm guessing. We should probably delete all these accounts, and put a better signup system in place to prevent this, no? - Colin

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. Accounts with pear.dev are only shown now - if someone wants to see an account with other credentials they need to navigate directly to the account. We also set in place honeypots on registration and form pages - it hasn't gone live yet but I consider this matter closed until I'm proofed wrong :-) Could you reopen this report if you notice this again after the next pearweb release (we are also moving servers soon.)
