Description: ------------ When using quick install from http://localhost/pear/?command=list one will get the above notice after installing a package which triggers a warning. warning: [somepackage] dependency package "[someotherpackage]" downloaded version 0.1.2 is not the recommended version 0.1.1

Hey Lars, would you mind adding a bit more detail / clearer steps to reproduce to this ticket? It sounds a little bit tricky to reproduce for us triagers...

Hi Lars, I can only suspect that the package you are installing also has a postinstallscript attached to it ? In order to make the warning dissapear, I will need to know the line at which you get the warning (so the full warning). If you could tell me (or give me) the package you are talking about, I can try to reproduce it on my local machine. Greetings, Tias
