Description: ------------ you need to fix teh documentation on the install page.. go-pear.org is expired and if someone gets ahold of that domain and puts up their own script it could be a pretty serious problem.. just a heads up...

actually, the domain name needs to be registered, and Martin is on this problem.

So, in the meantime, what are we supposed to do. Where do we get go-pear from?

go-pear.org is an alias to http://pear.php.net/go-pear If you have PHP 5.1.0 or newer, use http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar

The domain is gone forever and there is nothing we can do about this.

Well.. Just HOPE the domain parking service that owns that is not nasty and does not put up a fun little php script there that roots peoples machines who try to use the install docs to install pear. I have not checked, but I hope the docs are at least fixed and have removed the references to this domain
