On line 234 of SVN/Checkout.php it reads:
$_switches .= "--non-recursive ";
Instead the lines 233-235 should just be removed. Afterwards lines 230-237 should read:
case 'non-recursive':
case 'non-interactive':
case 'no-auth-cache':
case 'quiet':
if ($val === true) {
$_switches .= "--$switch ";
}
break;
Expected result:
----------------
Recursive checkout (unless specifically asking for 'non-recursive').
Actual result:
--------------
Always getting non-recursive checkouts.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).
If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.
Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
