Description: ------------ This patch fixes several symlink-related problems : - on archive creation, symlinks were stored as files/directories they point to - on acrhive extraction, symlink extraction failed if the file/symlink already exists. Test script: --------------- How to reproduce bug : - create tar file with one or more symlink on it - extract a tar file containing symlink twice (to create file/symlink already exists condition) Expected result: ---------------- Symlinks correectly added and extracted Actual result: -------------- - on archive creation, symlinks were stored as files/directories they point to - on acrhive extraction, symlink extraction failed if the file/symlink already exists.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
