Description: ------------ "IE6345736D" is not a valid vat number; "IE6345735D" is. both are being marked as valid by the vatNumber method. http://www.2-small-business.com/number_registration_vat.shtml and http://www.braemoor.co.uk/software/vat.shtml show that excluding the IE prefix; the value should be valid if the checkMOD23 indicates as much.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
