Description: ------------ When creating a new account, the "link to source code" has a maxlength of 5 set on it. Therefore, no real url can be added.

That's a c&p error. The element was copied from the textarea element above which has 5 rows, while the fifth parameter for text elements is the maxlength value. (And the 40 should be a 20, to have all fields with the same size.) Anyway, this element is ignored currently. It is shown nowhere, it is not stored anywhere, and it is not send to anybody.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
