Description: ------------ The truncated comment is useful, but it would be nice to have a link to the page that contains the note, so that one can view the whole note.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. This is fully implemented and tested on FF2 (Windows Vista, XP and Mac OS X Tiger), also on Safari and IE7 and IE6. In the administration area, you now have a button (link) to view and (no js) If you click on 'view' you will then get a nice popup with darkened background etc.. Greg mentionned that this is not fully working on FF1.5, however I cannot get an error anymore. Morevoer, for people that don't like this javascript stuff, I have also made it possible to view the note in the regular non-javascript browsers, one would just have to click on the "(no js)" link and this will direct the dev to a page. In order to test, I have made a fresh pearweb checkout and adjusted the dsn to use mine s/pear/pearweb/g else than this all the files from CVS are fully working on my host on all major browsers. We'll see how it goes from here, at least we can see the full notes for people that have js bugs.
