Description: ------------ The documentation doesn't suggest that variables from the query string will be imported, but they are. I assumed extraVars existed for persistence. It would be nice if they reflected this fact. (Perhaps I missed this?) Also, there are cases when you don't want variables imported from the query. As an alternative to bug #2461, I suggest an option 'importQueryVars'. If set to false, then data from the query string will not be imported at all. It should default to true for BC, of course.

The major advantages of excluding everything are speed and simplicity. You can do your own, possibly more complex, filtering elsewhere and pass query values in as extraVars.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net. In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.
