Description:

If a file gets uploaded which is larger than MAX_FILE_SIZE,
HTTP_Upload returns "You haven't selected any file for uploading" instead of "... too large ...".

I think that PHP nukes the file when its size is greater than the MAX_FILE_SIZE specified, but I will have to check.

I thought so, too... but in fact PHP populates an error within the $_FILES array:

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.
In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.
