Description: ------------ hi i'd like to adopt patches from pld linux: http://cvs.pld-linux.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/packages/php- pear-PEAR_Command_Packaging/php-pear- PEAR_Command_Packaging.patch please guide how to proceed best way with it. i guess gradually commit features? i could split out patch by feature sets probably if needed. and some things like format, probably can be left as patch to pld, most important is that the logic gets in so the future updates would be easier.

Feature by feature is the best way for us - if you've got test coverage, neat. There's a fair bit in http://cvs.pld-linux.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/packages/php-pear-PEAR_Command_Packaging/php-pear-PEAR_Command_Packaging.patch?rev=1.12;content-type=text%2Fplain to review, so it might take a while.

Want to fork the current package and fire off a pull request or two?

> Want to fork the current package and fire off a pull request or two? well, it's kind of tricky, because i'm not sure which commits/features are interesting. i'll try to merge upstream changes first to that git
