I Run
Tree::setupMemory('DBsimple',$dsn,$options);
I get a working tree but the remove method fails with a warning on that hasChildren(); doesnt exists.
My quick fix was to
// if( $this->hasChildren($id) )
// $id = $this->walk( array('_remove',$this) , $id , 'array' );
This makes it recursive unfriendly :D But I can get recursive functionality from my code anyway

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.
In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Should be fixed, open again if this still happens.
