Description: ------------ error message when mirror not in channel.xml file give a better error message when setting a mirror not specified in the channel.xml file C:\Prg\Net\serveur\wamp\php>pear config-set preferred_mirror de.pear.php.net config-set (preferred_mirror, de.pear.php.net, user) failed, channel pear.php.net <jeichorn> guess we need a feature request for a better error message on that since the url you give is being checked againt the channel.xml <jeichorn> if you look in pear.php.net.reg you should see us.pear.php.net and de.pear.php.net <Moosh> no there is no us.pear.php.net and de.pear.php.net <jeichorn> ok your channel file isn't actually updated <Moosh> >pear channel-update pear.php.net <Moosh> Updating channel "pear.php.net" <Moosh> Update of Channel "pear.php.net" succeeded <Moosh> C:\Prg\Net\serveur\wamp\php>pear config-set preferred_mirror de.pear.php.net <Moosh> config-set succeeded

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
