Description: ------------ * Dns unable to resolve whois.nic.mil To confirm, whois.iana.org does not provide a valid whois server for the "mil" domain. Net_Whois should remove whois.nic.mil support because the US military has not provided a whois database for many years. It is of course possible that whois.nic.mil works inside of the military, however since there is no standard to meet with this, support should be removed.

This bug has been fixed in SVN. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. This fix can always be reversed in the unlikely event that Net_WHOIS *is* being used by .mil types.
