Description: ------------ I don't know if this has been fixed with 1.5.4 already, I noticed when upgrading from 1.5.3. Take a look at this screen log from "pear upgrade-all": [snip] upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/PEAR-1.5.4 PEAR: Optional feature webinstaller available (PEAR's web-based installer) PEAR: Optional feature gtkinstaller available (PEAR's PHP-GTK-based installer) PEAR: Optional feature gtk2installer available (PEAR's PHP-GTK2-based installer) upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/PhpDocumentor-1.3.2 upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/PHP_CompatInfo-1.4.3 upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/Services_Weather-1.4.2 upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/DB-1.7.11 upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/MDB2-2.4.1 MDB2: Optional feature fbsql available (Frontbase SQL driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature ibase available (Interbase/Firebird driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature mysql available (MySQL driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature mysqli available (MySQLi driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature mssql available (MS SQL Server driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature oci8 available (Oracle driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature pgsql available (PostgreSQL driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature querysim available (Querysim driver for MDB2) MDB2: Optional feature sqlite available (SQLite2 driver for MDB2) upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/Net_SMTP-1.2.10 upgrade-all ok: channel://pear.php.net/MDB2_Driver_mysql-1.4.1 To install use "pear install pear/PEAR#featurename" To install use "pear install pear/MDB2#featurename" The last two notices are a bit misplaced. They should better be raised right after the "optional feature available" notices.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. I've fixed the language a bit. To fix this, I decided to move the optional features list down to the bottom as well.
