INSTALL tells me to
check 'PHP_Debug_HTML_Div_test.php' and 'PHP_Debug_HTML_Table_test.php'
check 'PHP_Debug_test.php'
All three scripts are not installed into the docs folder.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug.
As theses files are real scripts not documentation, they are intalled in the TEST/PHP_Debug of the pear folder and not in the doc folder.

Wrong.
The "test" role is for unit tests, not for example scripts.
Example scripts are to be used with role "doc".
