    What does this provide to differentiate it from MDB2 or Doctrine DBAL?

    As far as I can tell the code doesn't currently provide any abstraction and only supports MySQL.

    Hey Mohammad,

    I agree with Mike -- the benefit of this code over MDB2 or Doctrine is currently questionable, especially since it only supports one driver. Unless there is something we missed, it would still be nice if instead you contributed to MDB2. :-)
