Auth::getAuth() – check for an authenticated user

Synopsis

boolean Auth::getAuth ( )

Description

Check if the user has been authenticated.

In previous versions, this function had a different behaviour than Auth::checkAuth()(). Now it is just an alias for Auth::checkAuth()().

Return value

boolean - If the user has already been authenticated, the function returns TRUE. Otherwise it returns FALSE.

Note

This function can not be called statically.

check if a session with valid authentication information exists (Previous) retrieve extra information stored within the auth session (Next)
