MDB_Common::fetchOne()

MDB_Common::fetchOne() -- fetch the first column of the first row

Synopsis

require_once 'MDB.php';

mixed &fetchOne (resource $result)

Fetch the first column of the first row of data returned from a result set and free the result set.

resource $result: a valid resource returned by query() or executeQuery()

mixed - the returned value or a MDB_Error, if fail
