Description: ------------ The autocomplete feature doesn't work in OSX in Safari and Explorer, but the same code work in a PC. It is a client side problem, probably is something in the java- script code. May be it can help, the autocomplte from php.net, work in Safari.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PEAR itself. For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PEAR, please visit http://pear.php.net/support/ as this bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking support questions. Thank you for your interest in PEAR. Safari doesn't support setSelectionRange() so autocomplete elements can't be used with it, although they degrade well. Apparently, a patch[1] has been proposed and maybe accepted by the WebKit team so it will probably be supported in the next Safari version. [1] http://bugzilla.opendarwin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3401 For IE5, I have no clue. But this browser is not supported by neither Microsoft nor Apple anymore.
