I dont know which version of LiveUser you are using, but in the past versions there is no such code. There is however "$obj->_options['autoInit']". However the "$obj->_readConfig()" sets the _options property before hand. Furthermore there is an isset() call to determine if the 'autoInit' key is set.

In version 0.1.0 the method factory dont call $this->_readConfig().

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better. doh you are of course right .. I looked at LiveUser and not LiveUser_Admin .. sorry and thx for your persistance!
