Description: ------------ Greg: In the pear-dev thread entitled "coding standards: Header Comment Blocks" you suggested providing a method named addGlobalReplacement(). http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=pear-dev&m=108671958319698&w=2 This new method would make life easier for developers when we adopt the new header comment block coding standard, which includes a replacement for the package version number in each file. http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=128 Sorry to pressure you, but I would like to get this comment block approved sooner rather than later, so if you could whip out this request, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

this will be added in 1.4.0, fyi, which will also contain any bugfixes, and support for package.xml 2.0

This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net. In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show up on the website in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.
