Description: ------------ Since the package is alpha, it's no BC break if the code was switched completely to php5. This should be done.

To make this more concrete, a clear issue is line 459 on SVN.php (version 0.3.4) with a reference used to create an object. This isn't needed since PHP 5. I omit the ampersand it works fine, but it if it left in with strict error messages you get the following message displayed: Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /path/to/util/pear/VersionControl_SVN-0.3.4/SVN.php on line 459
