Description: ------------ I think it would be a nice feature if a __toString() function existed to do the same thing as the toHtml(). This way, you could just echo the table-object and it would be rendered nicely. This would help when you have a PHP developer for the business logic and a HTML-developer for the GUI collaborate. The GUI developer would only have to learn to do <?= $myTable ?>

This bug has been fixed in SVN. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
