Description: ------------ Using the web interface for mailing list subscription http://pear.php.net/support/lists.php does not work - the user does never receive a confirmation mail. Uhm, any thoughts on this?

See my original email for a workaround: "I was able to subscribe by following the instructions for ezmlm (http://www.ezmlm.org/ezman-0.32/ezman1.html) and sending an email to each pear-*-subscribe@lists.php.net. If the problem with the Web form cannot be remedied, I suggest replacing it with such instructions for the time being. "

I verfied that don't get any mail to confirm my subscription.

Guys, can you please either contact a person who is responsible for running PHP mailing lists *or* replace the broken form with working instructions? I am getting support requests thru website since people cannot subscribe, I suspect even more people are walking away from PEAR because of this...

So, I've done a bit of work adding instructions on how to subscribe, which does not resolve our mail issues. However, my efforts to get the mail stuff resolved haven't moved very far, because I have NFI what I'm looking for on euk1.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
